Services

Building Services Engineering

Mechanical and electrical engineering, energy assessment, regulatory compliance and technical consultancy across RIBA Stages 0–7.

Our engineers develop and review building-services strategies, system capacities, spatial requirements, interfaces and technical deliverables from early feasibility through detailed design, procurement and construction support.

Mechanical

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical and public health engineering for new-build, refurbishment, plant replacement and decarbonisation projects.

Our engineers develop heating, ventilation, cooling and domestic water strategies, including central plant, distribution networks, above-ground drainage and rainwater systems. Designs consider peak loads, system diversity, plant duties, pressure losses, hydraulic performance, ventilation rates, acoustic criteria, energy use and the integration of low-carbon technologies, with dynamic thermal modelling undertaken where required.

Electrical

Electrical Engineering

Electrical building services and infrastructure design for new developments, refurbishment projects and operational sites.

Our engineers develop incoming supply and LV distribution strategies, assess available capacity and fault levels, and coordinate utility and DNO requirements. Designs include protection studies, cable sizing, voltage-drop assessment, containment, small power, lighting, emergency lighting and life-safety systems.

For higher-demand installations, we also undertake IEC 60287 cable assessments to evaluate current-carrying capacity, installation conditions and thermal performance.

Energy & Compliance

Energy, Sustainability & Compliance

Energy assessment, sustainability and regulatory compliance services that inform the building-services strategy and overall project design.

Our services include Building Regulations compliance, Part L design input, SAP and SBEM assessments, energy strategies, BREEAM-related engineering input and DREAM support for applicable MOD and MOJ projects. We also prepare technical evidence and coordinate with the wider assessment team where required.

Assessment services are delivered by appropriately qualified assessors and specialist partners where applicable.
